How American Impact Windows and Doors Orlando collects, uses, and protects your information — including cookies, advertising pixels, analytics, and text messaging.
Effective date: July 23, 2026 · Last updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how American Impact Windows and Doors Orlando (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a brand operated by American Impact & Energy LLC (Florida Licensed General Contractor, License #CGC1540149), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.americanimpactwindowsorlando.com, contact us, submit a form, call us, or exchange text messages with us. It describes our data practices and the choices available to you, including how to opt out of advertising cookies and marketing text messages.
This Policy applies to this website and to the other websites operated by American Impact & Energy LLC under the American Impact & Energy family of brands, including americanimpactandenergy.com and americanimpactwindowsorlando.com.
The business responsible for your personal information (the “business,” or “controller” where that term applies under state law) is American Impact & Energy LLC.
When you request a quote, book a consultation, call, text, email, or fill out a form, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, service address or project location, and details about the work you are interested in (for example roofing, impact windows and doors, remodeling, or HVAC).
When you use the website, we and our providers automatically collect technical and usage data such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in Section 3.
If you call or text us, we may collect your phone number, the content of your message, and call details. Some calls may be recorded or monitored for quality, training, and record-keeping. Before recording, we provide notice and obtain any consent required by applicable law (Florida requires the consent of all parties to the call); if the required consent is not given, the call will not be recorded.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health, or financial account numbers) through this website. Please do not submit such information through our forms. If you apply for financing, your application is submitted to and handled directly by our third-party financing partners under their own terms and privacy policies; we do not collect or store your full financial account information.
We use cookies and similar technologies — including pixels and web beacons — to operate the site, understand how it is used, and support our advertising. These technologies may set or read information on your device.
| Category | Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core site functionality, security, form submission | Session/hosting cookies (Cloudflare) |
| Analytics | Measure traffic and how visitors use the site | Google Analytics 4, managed through Google Tag Manager |
| Advertising | Measure ad performance and show relevant ads (remarketing) | Google Ads tag, Meta (Facebook) Pixel |
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block or delete cookies), and you can use the advertising opt-outs described in Section 4. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
We configure our analytics and advertising tools so that they do not transmit directly identifying information (such as your name, email, or phone number) — whether in page addresses, tracking parameters, or other data sent to these tools — except where we use an authorized product (such as Google Enhanced Conversions or Meta’s matching) that is set up in accordance with the provider’s requirements and this Policy, in which case identifiers are transformed (for example, hashed) as the provider requires.
We use third-party services to measure our marketing and, where applicable, to show you relevant ads on other websites and platforms. These partners may collect information such as your device identifiers, IP address, and browsing activity on our site through the technologies in Section 3.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for website analytics, and Google advertising services (including Google Ads and Google Local Services Ads) for advertising and conversion measurement, which may include remarketing. Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to build audiences for advertising on Facebook and Instagram. In the future we may also use Meta’s Conversions API, which would transmit event information (for example, that a page was viewed or a quote request was submitted) from our server to Meta for measurement and, if we configure it for matching, transformed (hashed) contact identifiers such as an email address or phone number — subject to notice, the controls described in this Policy, and applicable law. We do not send special-category or sensitive data to Meta. You can manage how ads are shown to you in your Meta Ad Preferences, and review Meta’s Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law (see Section 8).
If you provide your phone number and opt in — for example by checking a consent box, texting us first, or asking us to text you — we (through a messaging provider such as Twilio) may send you text messages related to your inquiry, appointments, quotes, and service updates, and, where you have agreed, promotional offers.
Standard call and message rates from your carrier may apply to calls and texts you exchange with us.
If and when we launch a text-messaging program, the specific program details — the sender, the types of messages, message frequency, and how to get help — will be provided to you when you opt in and in our separate SMS Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described here:
Depending on where you live (for example California under the CCPA/CPRA, and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:
Your Privacy Choices — how to exercise your rights: email [email protected] or call (689) 219-5507 with your request, including a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information or of targeted advertising, send a request using the email or phone above; under California law this is a valid opt-out method. You can also limit advertising cookies using the browser and industry controls in Sections 3–4. Some browsers and extensions can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal; as we add the technical ability to detect it, we will treat a detected GPC signal as an opt-out request where required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Whether these laws apply to us depends on statutory thresholds; we provide this disclosure for transparency. In the preceding 12 months we may have collected the following categories of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money; however, our use of advertising cookies and pixels may be treated as “sharing” (and, for some data, a “sale”) for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
| Category | Examples & sources | Purpose | “Sold” / “Shared”? | Recipient categories |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, email, phone, address, IP address — from you and your device | Respond to inquiries, provide services, site & advertising | Online identifiers tied to browsing may be shared for advertising | Advertising/analytics platforms; operational providers |
| Customer & commercial records | Contact details, project details, services requested, quotes — from you | Provide estimates and services, billing, marketing | Not sold; may be shared as part of advertising audiences | Operational providers; advertising platforms |
| Internet / network & approximate geolocation | Pages viewed, clicks, interactions, approximate area from IP — from your device | Analytics, security, advertising | Shared for analytics and advertising | Advertising/analytics platforms |
| Audio | Call recordings, where made with required consent — from you | Quality, training, record-keeping | Not sold or shared | Operational providers |
| Inferences | Audience/interest segments for advertising — derived | Advertising | Shared | Advertising platforms |
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, after which we delete or de-identify it. Our retention criteria by category:
| Category | Purpose | Retention period / criteria |
|---|---|---|
| Lead & contact details (name, phone, email, address, project details) | Respond to and follow up on your inquiry; provide estimates and services | Duration of the inquiry/project plus up to 3 years, unless a longer period is needed for warranty, billing, or legal reasons |
| Project, financing & billing records | Perform services, warranty, accounting and tax compliance | As required by applicable tax, warranty, and contract-limitation laws (generally up to 7 years) |
| Call recordings / text messages | Quality, training, and record-keeping | A limited period consistent with the purpose, then deleted, unless needed for a dispute or legal obligation |
| Website, analytics & advertising data (cookies/pixels) | Measure and improve the site and advertising | Per the settings of each tool (for example, Google Analytics data retention), typically up to 14 months, plus aggregated/de-identified reporting |
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no website or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website may link to third-party sites and platforms that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites; please review their privacy policies.
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, we do not respond to DNT signals. As described in Section 8, we are adding the ability to recognize the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and will treat a detected GPC signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing where required by applicable law; in the meantime you can opt out using the email or phone in Section 8.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate and, where your consent is required, we will seek it before the change applies to you.
